MC Series Metal Core Inductors

Taiyo Yuden MC Series Metal Core Inductors are multilayer structured metal based inductors suitable for anti-noise applications. These metal core inductors from Taiyo Yuden's award-winning MCOIL lineup feature current ratings up to 4A and case size as small as 0603/1608 EIA/JIS case size. The MCOIL's metallic magnetic materials are optimized for use in choke coils. Typical applications include power supply circuits in mobile, automotive, and industrial markets, among others. These applications require components that deliver a high current in a compact space.

MCOIL™Metal Power Inductors

Taiyo Yuden MCOIL™ Metal Power Inductor Series is the first of a series of coil components that use metallic magnetic materials optimal for use in choke coils for power supply circuits in compact mobile devices such as smartphones and tablet PCs that are becoming smaller, thinner, and more feature-rich. The two product classes of the MCOIL™ Metal Power Inductor Series, the wirewound chip power inductor MAMK2520 and metal core SMD power inductor MDMK2020, combine with Taiyo Yuden's advanced process technology to achieve the best-in-class DC bias characteristics in the industry as well as size reduction.
